2016 Conditions of Play - Dual Memberships

 

 

In accordance with the Bowls ACT definition of a declared player (Bowls ACT Conditions of Play Section 2.3 (c)

 

  • If a Canberra City Bowling Club (CCBC) member formally applies for and is granted a transfer to another Bowls ACT affiliated club, that club is considered by CCBC to be the player’s declared club.  The player may not compete in / nominate for a CCBC championship event from the date of approval by CCBC of the transfer, notwithstanding that the player may have dual or multi-club memberships including CCBC.

 

  • If a player formally applies for and is granted a transfer to CCBC from another Bowls ACT affiliated club then CCBC considers itself to be that player’s declared club, notwithstanding that the player may have dual or multi-club memberships.  CCBC expects that any club championships declared club members enter will be CCBC championships.  CCBC also expects that if declared CCBC players make themselves available to play state pennant they should play for CCBC in preference to any other Bowls ACT affiliated club, provided that CCBC enters a team in a grade appropriate to the player’s ability.

 

  • A CCBC member who has not paid the annual club subscription will be considered un-financial for purposes of entering any club championship until such time as the subscription is paid.
